There are currently 20 skills in TitanReach, each with a maximum level of 100. As TitanReach is in pre-alpha, any stated levels or XP values are subject to change.
In TitanReach there are no classes or specializations, you have the freedom to play however you want. Your skills define your character. Want to shoot magic whilst wearing heavy armour? You can do that.
Defense reduces incoming damage and is used as a requirement for different tiers of armour and shields.
Dexterity provides a bonus to melee accuracy and is used as a requirement for different tiers of melee weapons.
Strength provides a bonus to melee damage and is also used as a requirement for different tiers of melee weapons.
Vitality is a measure of a character's life points. It is the only skill that doesn't start at level 1, instead starting at level 15.
Ranged provides a bonus to ranged damage and is used as a requirement for different tiers of ranged weapons.
Precision provides a bonus to ranged accuracy and is used as a requirement for different tiers of ranged weapons.
Occultism provides combat buffs. It is considered one of the most difficult skills to level.
Sorcery provides a bonus to magic damage and is used as a requirement for different tiers of magic weapons. Casting spells consumes Mana.
Focus provides a bonus to magic accuracy and is used as a requirement for different tiers of magic weapons.
Alchemy as a Gathering skill includes the harvesting of fruit trees, herbs, mushrooms and other ingredients.
Fishing is the process of catching fish to be cooked using the Cooking skill.
Mining is the process of mining ores for use with the Metallurgy skill.
Woodcutting is the process of cutting trees and harvesting wood for use with the Survival skill.
Alchemy as a Production skill uses the ingredients gathered also using Alchemy in the creation of potions that increase or restore skills and mana.
Artisan is used to create Sorcery and Ranged armours, as well as other various textiles.
Cooking is what it sounds like. Cook fish and meat, bake cakes, and prepare drinks that provide Vitality regeneration and skill buffs.
Forging is the process of crafting melee weapons and armour from ingots created with the Metallurgy skill.
Metallurgy is used to process ores gathered with the Mining skill into ingots. It also includes the creation of unenchanted jewelry.
Survival is used to craft ranged and magic weapons. It is also used to light fires.
Arcana is a non-combat magic skill. It uses glyphs in order to teleport, enchant jewelry, and imbue various pieces of equipment.
Slayer allows the player to hunt specified monsters using unique hunting tools for great rewards.
The framework for a very basic skill calculator exists here. Not all skills have data available, and almost zero XP values are known (while also being subject to change).
NOTE: The XP values listed here are out of date. They have been reconfigured so that level 100 lands exactly at 10,000,000 XP.
